Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH), 29-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Fighting Scots travel to Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Cardington-Lincoln lost 43-27 in their recent non-league bout against Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH)

Next up, the Presidents clash with the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) in a Mid-Ohio bout, on Friday, December 8. Marion Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 44-43 league loss to Pleasant (Marion, OH).
