North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), 39-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Valley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Illinois Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 50-24 non-league win over Siuslaw (Florence, OR).
