Mississippi High School Basketball - Leland overwhelmed by North Side

The North Side Gators basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Leland Cubs to 12 in the Gators non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gators now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. North Side will battle a Hornets team coming off a 57-25 non-league win over Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
The Cubs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Charleston triumphed over Strayhorn (Sarah, MS), 58-18, in a non-league contest.
