Georgia High School Basketball - Tift County overwhelms Valdosta

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) and the host Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA), saw Tift County's basketball team triumph over Valdosta by a score of 63-31.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coffee for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Tift County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.

The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cook was routed by Valdosta (Valdosta, GA), 69-21, in a non-league contest.
