With the victory, Yazoo County improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Edwards (Ruleville, MS) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Indians confront the Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Yazoo City will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS).
