In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Gardendale Rockets basketball team scored a big 62-40 win over the Altamont Knights.

The Rockets (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Helena was trounced by Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 78-68, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 4. Altamont will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 72-66 non-league loss to Priceville (Priceville, AL).
