The Hampton Bulldogs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Bearden Bears to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Junction City for a 2A Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 3. Hampton will confront a Dragons team coming off a 77-51 non-league win over Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Bearden falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lafayette County (Stamps, AR) to confront the Cougars in a 1A Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 3. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-1. Lafayette County won 67-56 in their recent non-league game against Spring Hill (Hope, AR)
