In Monday's non-league contest, the host Page County Panthers basketball team scored a good 69-60 triumph over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Waynesboro was topped by Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Streaks battle the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Harrisonburg will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 71-56 non-league loss to Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA).
