In Monday's league test, the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) basketball squad trounced the host Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), by a score of 79-37.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 test, on Tuesday, December 3. Simpson Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS).

The Crusaders (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Laurel HomeSchool (Laurel, MS). The Knight Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Laurel HomeSchool was ripped by Hattiesburg HomeSchool (Hattiesburg, MS), 67-59, in a league bout.
