Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 63-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Saluda advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 0-2. Mid-Carolina lost 73-33 in their recent non-league match against Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC)

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Batesburg-Leesville for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4.
