In Monday's non-league contest, the host Charleston Collegiate Sundevils basketball team scored a close 34-28 triumph over the Holy Trinity Classical Christian Mighty Lions.
The Sundevils (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's (John's Island, SC). The Islanders go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, St. John's nipped Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mighty Lions battle the Savannah Athletic Association Jaguars (Bloomingdale, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Holy Trinity Classical Christian will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 63-22 non-league win over Trinity Prep (Loganville, GA).
