In Monday's non-league contest, the host Staunton River Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 68-4 triumph over the Craig County Rockets.
The Golden Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, William Campbell was trounced by Liberty (Bedford, VA), 84-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Craig County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
