In Monday's league contest, the host Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored a big 56-32 triumph over the Rockridge Rockets.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers go into the Three Rivers - West contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Orion was trounced by Mercer County (Aledo, IL), 54-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Rockridge will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 41-30 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL).
