The Southampton Indians basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Ridgecroft Rams to 23 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Nottoway for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Southampton will play a Cougars team coming off a 76-9 non-league win over Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
