In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host MacArthur Highlanders basketball team scored a good 61-44 triumph over the Altus Bulldogs.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK). The Fighting Irish go into the Freelance contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop McGuinness was topped by Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK), 65-57, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Childress for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Altus will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 50-38 non-league loss to Pampa (Pampa, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
