Georgia High School Basketball - First Academy felled by CHESS Academy

The CHESS Academy Knights (Tifton, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting First Academy Lions (Douglas, GA), 63-47 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Byne Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 4. CHESS Academy will play a Saints team coming off a 78-59 non-league win over Colquitt Christian Academy (Moultrie, GA). The Saints record now stands at 7-0.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Faith Christian Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Faith Christian Academy went down by Heritage Christian Academy (Brunswick, GA), 52-41, in a league test.
