In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys basketball team scored a close 43-38 win over the Fort Davis Indians.
The Cowboys (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against McCamey (McCamey, TX). The Badgers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, McCamey was tipped by Kermit (Kermit, TX), 76-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Fort Hancock Mustangs (Fort Hancock, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Fort Davis will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Jesus Chapel (El Paso, TX).
