California High School Basketball - McFarland holds off Granite Hills

The McFarland Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Granite Hills Grizzlies to 53 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lemoore for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 3. McFarland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 72-63 non-league win over Arroyo Grande (Arroyo Grande, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

The Grizzlies (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA). The Suns come into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Del Oro held off West (Bakersfield, CA), 57-40, in a non-league outing.
