The Pirates now hold a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colmesneil for a non-league test on Thursday, December 4. Spurger will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-5 non-league loss to Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Slocum was edged by Trinity (Trinity, TX), 61-49, in a non-league bout.
