North Carolina High School Basketball - Purnell Swett triumphant over Douglas Byrd

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) and the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), witnessed Purnell Swett's basketball team smash Douglas Byrd by a margin of 57-13.

The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 4. Douglas Byrd will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 53-36 non-league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC).
