Mississippi High School Basketball - West Lauderdale can't hold off Quitman

The Quitman Panthers nudged the visiting West Lauderdale Knights basketball team by a tally of 40-38 in Tuesday's non-league game.

The Panthers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Bay for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Quitman will confront a Tigers team coming off a 43-33 non-league loss to Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, West Lauderdale drops to 3-7 on the year. The Knights host Raleigh (Raleigh, MS) to clash with the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, December 5. The Lions enter the outing with a record of 0-8. Raleigh lost 55-20 in their recent non-league outing against Union (Union, MS)
