Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Seacoast Christian Guardians (South Berwick, ME), 72-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Waynflete upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 29. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Fryeburg lost 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Leavitt (Turner, ME)

Next up, the Guardians play the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 29. Seacoast Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Seagulls go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 52-35 league win over St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME).
