Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA), 47-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sharpsville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Iroquois (Erie, PA) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Iroquois lost 48-9 in their recent non-league bout against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)

Next up, the play the Lincoln Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 15. Portersville Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
