McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aloha Warriors (Beaverton, OR), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McNary upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Celtics travel to Sprague (Salem, OR) to play the Olympians in a 6A Central Valley bout on Thursday, January 5. The Olympians come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Sprague won 66-31 in their recent non-league bout against Canby (Canby, OR)

Next up, the Warriors play the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Aloha will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Woodburn (Woodburn, OR).
