Nebraska High School Basketball - Sandhills/Thedford topped by Ansley/Litchfield

The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Sandhills/Thedford Knights to 44 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Ansley/Litchfield will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-35 non-league win over Fullerton (Fullerton, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ravenna (Ravenna, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Ravenna prevailed over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE), 43-36, in a non-league contest.
