The Berkshire Badgers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Grand Valley Mustangs to 57 in the Badgers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Badgers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirtland for a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest on Friday, December 23. Berkshire will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-47 league win over Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Cuyahoga Heights nudged Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH), 72-43, in a non-league contest.
