Maine High School Basketball - Bonny Eagle knocked off by Thornton Academy

The Thornton Academy Trojans basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots to 55 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Portland for a AA South contest on Thursday, December 22. Thornton Academy will battle a Red Riots team coming off a 52-39 non-league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Red Riots record now stands at 4-0.
The Scots (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Noble (Berwick, ME). The Knights enter the AA South contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Noble ran past Sanford (Sanford, ME), 78-54, in a league contest.
