The Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) basketball felled the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX), 57-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 10-6 record.

The Yellowjackets now own a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Timber Creek for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Boyd will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 67-41 league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 11-5.
