Texas High School Basketball - Spring Hill thwarts Carthage

The Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) basketball knocked off the host Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX), 42-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Edgewood went down by Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 42-40, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 3.
