Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR), 68-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Marshall (Marshall, AR) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Region 2 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Marshall lost 68-62 in their recent league bout against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)

Next up, the Bears play the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 6. White County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 68-62 league win over Marshall (Marshall, AR).
