In Tuesday's league battle, the host Central Cass Squirrels basketball team scored a decisive 74-39 victory over the Maple Valley Raiders.
The Squirrels now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 22. Central Cass will confront a Tommies team coming off a 71-57 league win over North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND). The Tommies record now stands at 2-0.
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Bulldogs come into the B Region 1 battle with a 3-0 record.
