Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Christ the King upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Royals travel to St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY) to play the Eagles in a Catholic Staten Island bout on Friday, December 23. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-2. St. Peter's lost 57-55 in their recent league bout against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY)

Next up, the Terriers play the St. Raymond Boys Ravens (Bronx, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. St. Francis Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
