Connecticut High School Basketball - Coginchaug Regional overwhelmed by Portland

The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils basketball team (Durham, CT), was routed 73-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT)

The Highlanders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hale Ray for a Shoreline battle on Friday, December 23. Portland will battle a Noises team coming off a 68-60 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Noises record now stands at 0-2.

The Blue Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams come into the Shoreline battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Old Saybrook trounced Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 63-34, in a league battle.
