Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX), 44-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Cooper upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Snyder (Snyder, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Snyder won 76-69 in their recent non-league bout against Brownwood (Brownwood, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Wylie will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
