The Cromwell Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host North Branford Thunderbirds to 14 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Regional for a Shoreline contest on Thursday, December 22. Cromwell will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-44 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.

The Thunderbirds (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars come into the Shoreline contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Haddam-Killingworth was routed by Morgan (Clinton, CT), 67-50, in a league contest.
