The Davenport West Falcons basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Davenport North Wildcats to 70 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Assumption for a Mississippi contest on Tuesday, January 3. Davenport West will battle a Knights team coming off a 68-56 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Knights record now stands at 3-7.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA). The Sabers enter the Mississippi contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Central Clinton was defeated by Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 56-53, in a league contest.
