DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA), 36-35 in a league bout.

With the win, DuBois upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Beavers host Brookville (Brookville, PA) to play the Raiders in a District 9 bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Brookville won 55-43 in their recent league bout against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) in a District 9 bout, on Thursday, December 22. Elk County Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Chucks go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 57-42 league loss to Bradford (Bradford, PA).
