Elba Tigers (Elba, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elba upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Goshen (Goshen, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Goshen lost 59-45 in their recent non-league bout against Barbour County (Clayton, AL)

Next up, the Gamecocks play the Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. New Brockton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 78-76 non-league loss to Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL).
