The Sunnyvale basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Farmersville Farmers to 42 in the league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaufman for a 4A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Sunnyvale will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-58 league loss to Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-14.

The Farmers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Tioga (Tioga, TX). The enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Tioga was routed by Lindsay (Lindsay, TX), 42-23, in a league contest.
