Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) and the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), saw Fenton's basketball squad hold off South Elgin by a tally of 61-60.
With the victory, Fenton improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bison host West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight challenge on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-10.
Next up, the Storm play the Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. South Elgin will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
