The Forrest City Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Highland Rebels to 61 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southside for a 4A Region 3 contest on Monday, January 2.

The Rebels (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Seminoles enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.
