Orono Riots (Orono, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 64-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Orono upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Riots travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to play the Golden Bucks in a B North bout on Thursday, December 22. The Golden Bucks come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Bucksport won 54-43 in their recent league bout against Hermon (Hermon, ME)

Next up, the Ponies play the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a B North bout, on Friday, December 23. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 70-23 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME).
