The Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ) basketball nipped the host Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ), 40-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (1-2) will now prepare for their test against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, West Essex was tipped by Newark Tech (Newark, NJ), 62-55, in a non-league test.
The Ridgers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Millburn for a Super Essex - Colonial test on Thursday, December 22. Glen Ridge will encounter a Millers squad coming off a 66-47 league loss to Montclair (Montclair, NJ). The Millers record now stands at 2-1.
