Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Indian Valley Braves (Gnadenhutten, OH), 40-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Tuscarawas Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans host Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Inter-Valley bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sandy Valley lost 56-39 in their recent league bout against Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH)

Next up, the Braves play the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) in a Inter-Valley bout, on Friday, December 23. Indian Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Norwayne (Creston, OH).
