Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah crushes Islands

Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 84-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Savannah upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Claxton (Claxton, GA) to play the Tigers in a A D1 Region 3 bout on Friday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-9.

Next up, the Sharks play the Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
