The West Lowndes Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Kemper County Wildcats to 57 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hope for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 4.

With the defeat, Kemper County moves to 1-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 28. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-4. Northeast Lauderdale won 64-29 in their recent non-league match against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS)
