The Power Center Academy Knights basketball team (Memphis, TN), was nudged 49-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN)

The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitehaven for a 4A District 16 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Memphis East will battle a Tigers team coming off a 81-41 non-league win over Mitchell (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.

The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sheffield (Memphis, TN). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Sheffield was nudged by Manassas (Memphis, TN), 59-53, in a non-league battle.
