New Jersey High School Basketball - Somerville can't hold off North Hunterdon

The North Hunterdon Lions basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Somerville Pioneers to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hunterdon Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. North Hunterdon will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 71-29 non-league loss to Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-3.
The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manville (Manville, NJ). The Mustangs enter the Skyland - Valley contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Manville nudged East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 59-39, in a non-league contest.
