The Perry-Lecompton Kaws basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Royal Valley Panthers to 43 in the Kaws non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Kaws now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Perry-Lecompton will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Red Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Hiawatha ran past Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS), 35-34, in a non-league contest.
