Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), 64-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Roland-Story upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Mustangs play the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout, on Friday, January 6. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
